This is only the 3rd RPG I've ever played the first two being FF7 and The Legends of Dragoons, But right now I'm totally sucking hind tit because I cant use SALSA right now. every time I pull her out to fight she's all blacked out and takes like 6 seconds before I can move her to attack. She's caught in a black smoke with red or pink crackling lights. also there's symbols underneath the health bars and I have no idea how to fix her. I have a couple other characters suffering from different afflictions but none are as bad as salsa, Jazz has got this blue aura all the time and I think Beats Green. So if anyone out there can help that'd be super duper appreciated.Read more >
Hi! Cutting to the chase, I'm Sandy (I'm male, btw in case you all were hoping something). I've recently bought the game for PS3 about four months ago and I've been playing since then. As an avid RPG player, I found the game to be very enjoyable and could be one of my favorite RPGs of all time. I enjoyed the battle system and the wide range of characters (not many RPGs have a 12-person party!). Right now I'm in my first playthrough struggling to beat Waltz and Ruined Body with a level 45 average party. I switch characters in and out a lot so no one is completely over or under leveled (my lowest leveled character is Beat, 43). Any tips on beating him? :) I plan to venture into Mysterious Unison right after and resurrect Claves, who by the w…Read more >

Well, there was no blog update this month, though most of the homepage was updated around the middle of the month.
This month, the featured article is Captain Dolce. Check out the wiki's extensive article about this troublesome boss.
Recently, a number of pages for English-language voice actors in the game have been added, including Megan Hollingshead and D.C. Douglas. Here's your chance to learn more about the game's talented cast. Also added within the past month is an article for Mandolin Church, with an article on the Mandolin Church Catacombs coming soon.Read more >
Well, this is running a bit late, but if you've been following the blog, then you know I've been rather busy lately.
Over the past month, there haven't been too many new articles. However, there is now a basic article up for Celesta Forest and articles have also been created for Soul Shard, King Baroque (antiquity) and Lord Forte.
Besides this, there have also been a number of other updates. Images have been added to a large number of articles, so make sure to check out the recent images if you haven't seen them. I've also created the Imageless template to identify those articles still in need of images.
Over the coming month, I should have some free time and I'm planning to get images onto most if not all of the remaining articles that need …Read more >

Some exciting news - Wikia has offered me a free trip to their headquarters in California at the end of this month. I'll be spending a day there at their headquarters and while there, I'll be learning about and discussing the latest features for videos on Wikia. The travel expenses are entirely paid, so it's a pretty neat deal.
While I'm there, if there's any questions anyone wants me to ask, or anything they'd like to find out, just let me know. I'll try to represent the Eternal Sonata Wiki and the Harry Potter Wiki while I'm there. Really excited about the trip and this opportunity to learn more about Wikia!Read more >
Welcome to November 2012 and the newest update for the Eternal Sonata Wiki. Halloween is over and that means we're back to our normal color scheme, but I've also posted a new background image.
In October, the Eternal Sonata Wiki passed some major milestones, reaching over 250 articles and over 700 files. Both are quite exciting achievements and keep watching for more great content.
This month's featured article is on Claves. You can check out her story there, with a number of photos, and keep watching, as I'll be working to improve the article even further throughout the month.
This past month saw the addition of some great new content at the wiki, including pages for the Trusty Bell ~Chopin no Yume~ Drama CD and the Agogo Queen Mother and Phil.…Read more >
Curious about the Trusty Bell ~Chopin no Yume~ Drama CD? (「トラスティベル～ショパンの夢～」ドラマ) A member of Tumblr is uploading tracks of this rare import. Currently, four have been posted, and you can find the first here. It's in Japanese (never made for English-language release), but it includes high-quality music from the game's original score and certainly a fascinating listen for any hardcore fan of Eternal Sonata.Read more >
Starting today, there's a new way to keep track of the Eternal Sonata Wiki - just visit our Twitter feed! You can find it here. If you're a member of Twitter, feel free to follow, and keep an eye out at least once a week for updates on what's happening here on the Wiki. I may update more often as the whim strikes me.Read more >
If you're a regular visitor to the Eternal Sonata Wiki, then the first thing you probably noticed upon stopping by today was a new look. That's because all month long, the Eternal Sonata Wiki is celebrating Halloween. Make sure to take a look at this month's featured article, about the boss Trick or Treat, now enhanced with a gallery of its Special Attacks and an embedded video. Don't worry, the new look is just for this month, after that, we return to the old one.
Speaking of videos, video content is slowly making its way onto the Eternal Sonata Wiki. I've joined the beta for Wikia's "related videos" feature and you can now find this module on most pages. You'll also find embedded videos in a number of articles, and I'm working to add more vide…Read more >

It's a new month at the Eternal Sonata Wiki and with that, I'm delighted to bring you the latest updates on the wiki.
The Eternal Sonata Wiki has recently reached some major milestones, surging past 200 articles and now has over 600 files (a selection of pictures and audio clips) as well! With that, Eternal Sonata Wiki has qualified as a spotlighted Wikia wiki! This wiki was also recently upgraded to MediaWiki 1.19 and using the new Promote feature, I've added the wiki to the wikis that appear randomly in the boxes on the homepage of wikia.com. So if you ever stop by there, take a look - you never know when you might see Chopin in the field of Heaven's Mirror.
But enough about that. Let's talk about the actual content. This month's featured articl…

It's the start of another new month on the Eternal Sonata Wiki, and with that the latest updates on content.
This past month, I've created a number of new articles on the various monsters and bosses battled in Eternal Sonata. I am currently through all of the monsters in the Double Reed Tower of Sand and have also added one of its bosses. Everything through that is complete, save a few of the boss entries. In each article you'll find the statistics on each monster, as well as pictures and general strategy on battling each one.
The wiki is now closing in over 200 articles and has well over 400 images. That however, is certainly not all that's new in the past month. There are also now articles for the official U.S. Eternal Sonata website, the Eterna…Read more >
It's the start of a new month here at the Eternal Sonata Wiki and with it comes news on the latest updates.
The most major new articles you'll notice in this latest batch of updates is a series of articles on the various monsters and bosses found in Eternal Sonata. Everything is complete so far up through the Adagio Swamp in Chapter 3. I've also just posted a guide for the game's final boss, which I was going to post on the homepage as this month's featured article, until I realized, well, spoiler. If you're interested in it, though, you can check it from the update feed, which is probably a spoiler in itself until it moves off of there, but honestly, if you're worried about spoilers, you should always be wary of visiting any general wiki for …Read more >
Well, I probably should have posted this sooner, but have been holding on it in the hopes of sharing some exciting news, which has now been finalized.
The Eternal Sonata Wiki is pleased to announce its second affiliate wiki, the Namco Wiki. This is a wiki for any game by Namco and Namco Bandai Games, so if you enjoyed Eternal Sonata and think you might be interested in trying some other games from this publisher, this wiki is a great place to visit. It was recently adopted by Quick, so watch for its content to grow.
In other news, I'm delighted to announce some major milestones for this wiki. Since my last blog post, we've passed 100 content pages. Some of these are, of course, stubs, but there's still a great deal of exciting content, and more o…Read more >
Well, it's been a while since the last update and a lot of changes have been made since there.
You'll find some updates that will help you to better navigate and enjoy the wiki. I've added a "playable characters" template to the bottom of the pages of each of the playable characters, so if you're on any of their pages, you can use that to visit the page of another playable character. I've also been working to add images to categories and I've implemented the "imagecat" template on a couple of pages (Frederic and Polka). Keep an eye out for more work in this area.
There's also a lot of great new content to explore, including this month's featured article, an updated article on astras. An astra is a jewel found within the hearts of everyone in…Read more >
If there are any pages that need creating, please let me know. You can post on my talk page, as I check my emails on my phone frequently. Thanks.Read more >
Greetings! I'm ProfessorTofty. While this is a relatively new account of mine, I've been editing on Wikia for several years. I first began playing Eternal Sonata early last year and was quickly captivated by its story, characters, music and battle system. I ave recently adopted this wiki as an admin/bureaucrat. I've already begun work to improve the structure and content of the wiki and look forward to continuing to develop the wiki.
I'm excited to announce the addition of some great new pages and content to the wiki. If you haven't already, be sure to check out the new pages for subjects such as mineral powder (the addictive drug that serves as a key plot device in the game, Tenuto Village (Polka's home village), Shape of Life (the parable pr…Read more >
